Our admissions team moves quickly to help your family during this sensitive time. When guardians work alongside us to get all the necessary info and documentation in a timely manner, we are able to admit your teenager quickly.

Yes! It’s not only encouraged, but it’s a requirement. Our program is extremely family-focused. A major part of our ethos is ensuring your teen transitions home to a healthier, more sustainable environment for the whole family. This requires family involvement. We have many resources both inside and outside Nexus to help your family cope and heal during this time. Each Saturday, we host a Family Empowerment Group at Nexus, followed by family visitation hours. We also have a dedicated Family Therapist who helps parents to learn and utilize new skills in their communication with their loved one.

The length of the program is tailored to meet your teenager’s specific needs. Many families want to expedite treatment, but the healing process cannot be rushed. We conduct weekly evaluations to assess your teen’s progress, and our clinical, medical, and academic teams update the family weekly. Our primary goal is to do what it takes to equip each resident with essential skills for lasting success, not only temporary victories.
