Finding an AHCCCS Drug Rehab

AHCCCS stands for Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System. If you’re suffering from an addiction to drugs or alcohol and not already on a Medicaid plan, you will likely qualify for emergency Medicaid. This will allow you to start rehab before getting approved. The Phoenix rehab that you choose to admit yourself into will handle the application process.

If you’re already on Medicaid and need treatment but are unsure where to start, we understand. There’s a lot of confusion that comes with having a Medicaid plan in the state of Arizona. Unlike in most other states, Arizona uses a managed care plan system, which means that multiple insurers manage multiple plans. Rehab facilities must be contracted with these insurers individually in some cases.

Our goal is to help you through the confusion. That’s why our helpline rings you directly to a specialist who can help you locate an AHCCCS treatment center for detox, residential, inpatient, or outpatient treatment.
